I remember a time in my life that I wanted nothing to do with the Christian faith. I had been exposed to so much hate and bitterness. That was what I thought that being a Christian would end up as. People stagnant in their purpose and full of negativity was what I had seen.

Then there's a but. When I was in 6th grade I joined my churches youth group and when I say I saw God so differently it was like night and day. My youth pastor showed me how beautiful and amazing a relationship with christ can be. I was taken aback by all the love I felt from God.

I am truly thankful for all the youth leaders that have put so much work into my life and the lives of my fellow students. They have shown me what following God looks like. Without them I believe I would not have grown my relationship with God.
